In 2009, Florida SPECS and Osceola Council on Aging partnered with the City of Kissimmee NSP1 Program to address the community's pressing needs. Together, they aimed to provide a sustainable solution to support qualified families in the area. To achieve the goal, the City of Kissimmee NSP3 Program oversaw the construction of a 2-family detached home, which RLH Construction executed under the supervision of Florida SPECS and Stormer Design Group. The Osceola Council of Aging, with its vast experience and knowledge in the field, was deemed a suitable partner to operate and manage the property. The organization was equipped with the necessary infrastructure to place eligible families and ensure the long-term sustainability of the property.
